Based on the relationship between man and the digital world, the exhibition Core 2 Duo explores the relation between the computer, the computer monitor and man. If the computer's processing power sets the limit for the digital space of possibilities, the screen is the limitation of human visual experience of the digital world. Influenced by his interest in these relationships Morten Modin has created an exhibition that includes drawings, prints and sculptures.
Morten Modin (b. 1981) lives and works in Copenhagen. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2014. Since, he has made a public sculpture for Vejen Kommune and had a major exhibition in Kunsthal Nord in Aalborg. In Morten Modins work are often both digital and analog layers.
